Seymour

Mount Seymour is the farthest of North Shore resorts from Downtown Vancouver. Seymour is a smaller and geared more towards learners. It doesn't have any high speed quads so that is a downside, but it is great for people who live around Burnaby because it would be the closest. 6/10 because it has a great learning facility.

Grouse

Grouse mountain is arguably the closest ski area from downtown Vancouver. However Grouse is very small, but inexpensive. After a while the skiing gets very boring, but some improvements including two new lifts. These lifts are very good at easing the amount of traffic on the mountain. 6/10 Web site: www.grousemountain.com

Cypress

This is the best North Shore ski area, it is the largest, and there is Nordic skiing. Cypress did many renovations to prepare for the olympics, one of these include building a new lodge, which is massive. 9/10
